Important geological sequence record TQ 57 NE 1106 - Important quaternary sequence, Croxton and Garry site, Swanscombe
Summary
Geoarchaeological investigations in 2019/20 discovered a deposit sequence that demonstrates that alluvial and colluvial deposits from similar valley contexts in the area, including those within the valley that ran through the Site, have the potential to preserve significant late Upper Palaeolithic and Mesolithic archaeology.
