Monument record TQ 67 SW 1742 - Linear features identified during geophysical survey to the south of Watling Street
Summary
During the geophysical survey which was undertaken on land immediately to the south of Watling Street (A2) at Swanscombe, two large linear features were recorded. These anomalies appear to represent a cut feature, and may flank either side of a trackway with a possible Roman date. (location accurate to the nearest 1m based on available information)
