Monument record TQ 67 SW 1751 - Possible pedestal within temple complex at Springhead

Summary

A small, solidly made square structure with a foundation of concrete, reinforced with flints, and superstructure of bricks cemented with opus signinum was discovered within the temple complex at Springhead. The structure is remarkably well finished and was clearly a base or pedestal of some importance. (location accurate to the nearest 10m based on available information)
