Summary
A programme of archaeological work carried out in 2012 found a number of medieval features including pits containing domestic refuse from c. AD 1175 to 1250, a medieval boundary ditch demarking the boundary with Chantry Lane (c. AD 1225 to 1350) and quarry pits dating to c. AD 1350 to 1550.
