Summary

A rectangular wattle and daub building was partially uncovered during drainage trench excavations carried out at Springhead. the remains consisted of a baked clay floor and possibly belonged to a relatively small rectangular building fronting the south western side of Watling Street. (location accurate to the nearest 10m based on available information)
