Monument record TQ 67 SW 1777 - Tile altar base associated with temple 2, discovered during excavations at Springhead.
Summary
A tiled altar plinth was found a few feet in front of the steps into temple 2 within the temple complex at springhead. A recessed stone altar base was found just to one side of it, a socket for a spigot being bored in the centre. (location accurate to the nearest 10m based on available information)
