Full Description

Archaeological excavation in 2014 (trench 2) found features dating to the late iron age / early Roman transition period. These consisted of cultivated soils, post hole and gully (possibly relating to a structure), and a ditch that was part of the triple-ditched enclosure previously identified. (1)
