Monument record TR 15 NE 1911 - Medieval ditches, Rhodaus Town
Summary
Archaeological excavation in 2013/14 found substantial medieval ditches to the north and east of the excavation area. It has been suggested that these may be defensive in nature and relate to the motte and bailey castle to the north-west of the site, perhaps being part of the outer bailey.
