Full Description
Excavation during the Farningham to Sevenoaks pipeline found a medieval ditch south of the river at Home Farm. The ditch was traced for 11m in length running north-west to south-east. It was on average 1,25 m wide and 0.4 m deep. 13th and 14th century pottery was found in the fill as well as tile and animal bone (1)
