Full Description
A group of around 6 post holes appear to form a linear feature aligned approximately east-west. They extend from the south west corner of the post built structure which was also located during this excavation. Bone, pottery, shell and iron were all recovered from their fills. The position and size of these features suggest that the group may have held the upright supports for a fence, perhaps placed to provide shelter from the prevailing winds.
