Two possible enclosures were identified in the south-east corner of Plateau 6 about 130m north-east of Barrow 1. Little can be said about them due to the limited nature of their exposure but their overall nature suggest a prehistoric origin. Enclosure 7 consisted of an 'L'-shaped ditch aligned north-west to south-east that extended for 45m from the limit of excavation to the south-east. At its north-west end the ditch turned to the south-west and extended beyond the edge of excavation. Enclosure 8 was set within Enclosure 7 on a similar alignment and consisted of a heavily truncated 'U'-shaped ditch 12m long on its north-west to south-east alignment turning in a broad curve to the south-west for 16m. The enclosure was later modified and contracted in size with several re-cuts and the addition of a further ditch within its north-east boundary.
