Monument record TR 26 NE 1284 - Areas of possible enclosures and Middle Bronze Age occupation - Plateau 1, Thanet Earth

Summary

Two possible enclosures were identified in the south-east corner of Plateau 6. Little can be said about them due to the limited nature of their exposure but their overall nature suggest a prehistoric origin. The enclosure contained three shallow pits that may have related to activity associated with animal penning or other occupation, but they could not be dated.
