Monument record TR 15 NW 2702 - ?Later prehistoric earthworks at Willows Farm, Canterbury

Summary

Possible later prehistoric earthworks were identified at Willows Farm, Canterbury during a magnetometer survey in 2020. A later evaluation at the site did not find any evidence for the earthworks up to 1m below the ground surface; however, the structures may still survive at greater depths, or residual traces of their location may survive as positive and negative geophysical enomalies. One of the trenches uncovered evidence for the redepositing of material though to be associated with the construction of the earthworks at the site.
