Full Description
Roman clay floors, beam slot and pits were excavated at 48 Burgate Street, Canterbury. The clay floors were located above an Iron Age pit (TR 15 NE 2069). The beam slot was aligned NW-SE, and the pits at the site are described as later (presumably later Roman). (1)
