Summary
A linear bank and ditch of uncertain date, possibly a former field boundary or plough headland. It is aligned NE-WS and can be traced for c.90m across a single field defined by drains to the south-west of Church Street. The linear is sub-divided into three equal potions, with both the bank and ditch components being cut by later drainage ditches. This feature was mapped from aerial photographs as part of the English Heritage: Hoo Peninsula Landscape Project.
