Full Description
Evidence for the construction pit of a Second World War bunker, was excavated at St Martin's Priory, Canterbury during an evaluation in 1999. Dump deposits in one of the trenches have been interpreted as evidence for the accumulation of spoil as a result of digging out a construction pit for the bunker. The bunker is thought to lie to the North East of the site. (1)
