Summary
The cropmark of a possible post medieval ditch or hollow way can be seen on aerial photographs taken in 1980. This circa 190m long feature is situated to the south -west of Hill Farm. A second cropmark circa 23m long is at the northern end and runs parallel to the main cropmark for 7m. Although in the vicinity of a 19th century orchard boundary and on the same alignment the cropmark is not as straight and further east. It was mapped from aerial photographs as part of the English Heritage: Hoo Peninsula Landscape Project.
