Summary

A group of earthworks of uncertain date can be seen in Court Wood on lidar taken in 2007. These earthworks are to the south-east of The Manor House. The largest earthwork is a low spread bank 117m long and circa 15m wide. A short length of bank at right angles to this at its northern end may have once been connected. A third bank to the north-west runs parallel to the first. The earthworks of a ditch or hollow way 84m long can also be seen. These were mapped from aerial photographs as part of the English Heritage: Hoo Peninsula Landscape Project.
