Monument record TQ 77 SW 1155 - The cropmarks of a group of ditched features east of Higham can be seen on aerial photographs taken in 2004
Summary
The cropmarks of a group of ditched features east of Higham can be seen on aerial photographs taken in 2004. These fragmentary features are of an uncertain date but may date to the late prehistoric period. An irregular cropmark may be a possible field boundary ditch while the cropmarks of two parallel ditches circa 10m apart may represent a droveway. These are situated to the east of Higham and were mapped from aerial photographs as part of the English Heritage: Hoo Peninsula Landscape Project.
