Full Description
A possible palaeochannel was identified during a watching brief on geotechnical work at Barrett's, Canterbury in 2015. Fluvial or alluvial sands and alluvial clays at the site have been interpreted as either representing overbank flooding from the Great Stour or the silting up of an earlier palaeochannel. (1)
