Full Description
A desk-based assessment in 2015 recorded linear cropmarks are visible to the west of Reculver Roman fort. These features may have been ditches associated with a Roman road. The features comprise two linear cropmarks around 6.5-7m apart on an ENE-WSW alignment.
Another cropmark thought to potentially date from this period comprised a rectilinear feature, 75m across. It is unclear what function this feature had, and it is not visible on HER aerial photography. (1)
