Summary

The author of the "Railway Children" Edith Nesbit's house which she lived in from 1922 to 1924. The house was actually two former RAF huts, the "Long Boat" and the "Jolly Boat", which were linked by a covered way. The huts were originally part of the First World War airfield of New Romney-Littlestone.
