Summary

A linear feature and a pit were discovered during an archaeological investiagtion carried out on land between Manston Road and Preston Road ahead of the redevlopment of the site. The features were not closely dated but may belong to the southern periphery of a medieval settlement which was discovered in the adjacent fields. (location accurate to the nearest 1m based on available information)
