Full Description
A stack stand of medieval/post-medieval date is visible as an earthwork on RAF/106G/UK/1131 RS 4026 17-JAN-1946. It was recorded as a levelled earthwork on Next Perspectives APGB Imagery 07-APR-2021. Although interpreted as a stand stand for hay, it may have been a mound raised as a livestock refuge. It was mapped as part of the Historic England Isle of Thanet project in 2024. (1-2)
