Full Description
A stack stand of medieval/post-medieval date was visible as an earthwork on RAF/106G/UK/1131 RS 4024 17-JAN-1946. The feature was recorded as a levelled earthwork on Next Perspectives APGB Imagery 07-APR-2021. Although interpreted as a stack stand, the small mound may have been constructed as a livestock refuge. This feature was mapped as part of the Historic England Isle of Thanet project in 2024. (1-2)
