Full Description
Four stack stands of medieval/post-medieval date were visible as a cropmark (on NMR 23126/01 04-AUG-2003) and earthworks (on RAF/106G/UK/1131 RS 4024 17-JAN-1946). The three earthworks were recorded as levelled on Next Perspectives APGB Imagery 07-APR-2021. Although interpreted as stack stands, the mounds may have been constructed as livestock refuges. They were mapped as part of the Historic England Isle of Thanet project in 2024. (1-2)
