Full Description
Up to 23 small pits of uncertain date were visible as cropmarks in Next Perspectives APGB Imagery 14-APR-2015. They may be associated with Iron Age/Roman field boundaries and settlement features to the north and east. Alternatively, they may be later extractive pits. They were mapped as part of the Historic England Isle of Thanet project in 2024. (1)
