Full Description
Cropmarks of part of a rectangular enclosure, possibly a medieval settlement enclosure located on the former northern shore of the Isle of Thanet just below the 5m contour. An associated boundary ditch extends SW from the enclosure. Three large pits are also noted which could be associated with the settlment activity. These features were visible on Next Perspectives APGB Imagery 14-APR-2015 and were mapped as part of the Historic England Isle of Thanet project in 2024 (1).
