Full Description
Cropmark of a large sub-rectangular pit of uncertain date mapped from aerial photographs - Next Perspectives APGB Imagery 25-MAY-2012- as part of the Historic England Isle of Thanet project in 2024 . This feature is similar in size (32m x 33m) and shape to some of the medieval settlement enclosures with sunken or excavated interiors noted along this former shoreline of the Isle of Thanet (1).
