Monument record TR 36 NW 1384 - Bronze Age ring ditches, Briary Road, Margate

Summary

During an archaeological strip map and sample excavation carried out on land off Briary Road in Margate, ahead of the redevelopment of the site, a group of Bronze Age ring ditches were recorded. One was undated, The second had a middle Bronze Age date and was associated with cremation burials and the third was likely later bronze age/earliest Iron Age in date. (location accurate to the nearest 1m based on available information)
