Monument record MKE124275 - Cropmark of ditches and pits south of Birchington

Cropmark of pits and ditches south of Birchington visible on aerial photographs -Next Perspectives APGB Imagery 14-APR-2015 and HEA 29751/26 29-JUN-2015. The three ditches , one of which has the hint of a corner could be the remains of rectilinear settlement enclosures. These features were mapped as part of the Historic England Thanet Landscape Mapping Project 2024 (2)

These features were also seen during a geophysical survey of the site conducted in 2017
