Full Description

The site of a Second World embanked gun emplacement on the cliff edge overlooking Westbrook Bay visible on RAF aerial photographs RAF/26J/BR194 VC 11 10-JAN-1941. This is part of a line of defences protecting access from the beach. These were mapped as part of the Historic England Thanet Landscape Mapping Project 2024. Removed after the end of the war. (1-2)
