Full Description

The site of a Second World pillbox and slit trenches overlooking Westbrook Bay visible on RAF aerial photographs RAF/HLA/540 RV 6003 17-MAY-1942. This is part of a line of defences protecting access from the beach. These were mapped as part of the Historic England Thanet Landscape Mapping Project 2024. Removed after the end of the war. (1-2)
