Full Description
An enclosure of Bronze Age/Iron Age date was visible as cropmark in Next Perspectives APGB Imagery 14-APR-2015. The sub-rectangular enclosure measures about 59m by 51m on plan, with an entrance to the south-east corner. Numerous sub-circular and sub-rectangular pits, presumably contemporary, are visible as cropmarks in the interior. These range from about 1.7m to 19.7m in maximum dimension. These features were mapped as part of the Historic England Isle of Thanet project in 2024. (1)
