Full Description

A ring ditch 19m in diameter identified as cropmarks from Next Perspectives APGB Imagery 05-MAY-2018 aerial photographs, one of a group of probable Bronze Age round barrows cut through by a later trackway. This feature was mapped as part of the Historic England Thanet Landscape Mapping Project 2024. (1)

Selected Heritage Inventory for Natural England: Five ring ditch features have been identified as cropmarks from aerial photographs of an area to the south of Brooks End. Two of these features are c.30m in diameter and may possibly be large Bronze Age henges or barrows.
