Full Description

Ditches, possibly a trackway of Uncertain date was visible as a cropmark on EARTH.GOOGLE.COM 05-2019. ACCESSED 06-JUN-2024. Aligned ENE-WSW the site appears as two parallel ditches to the west of the Monkton Road with further fragments visible in the field to the east of the road which may be part of a ditch-defined trackway with a total length of 125m. The track cuts through the southern part of an early medieval cemetery. This site was mapped as part of the Historic England Thanet Landscape Mapping Project 2024 (1)
