Full Description
Pits forming a linear pit alignment of Later Prehistoric date were visible as cropmarks in Next Perspectives APGB Imagery 14-APR-2015. These features were mapped as part of the Historic England Isle of Thanet project in 2024. At least 11 pits are oriented north-east/south-west, with two further pits positioned slightly further north in parallel. The pits range in size from about 1.5m to 6.8m in maximum diameter. The alignment is about 44.2 m long. (1)
