Full Description
Numerous pits of uncertain date were visible as cropmarks in Next Perspectives APGB Imagery 21-APR-2007 and Next Perspectives APGB Imagery 14-APR-2015. A cluster are grouped around a Medieval/post-Medieval extractive pit (MKE124559). Three pits are in the environs of an Iron Age/Roman field boundary (MKE124476). These features were mapped as part of the Historic England Isle of Thanet project in 2024. (1-2)
