Full Description
The cropmark traces of four subrectangular pits of uncertain date centred as a group at TQ 8347 7762 and mapped from aerial photographs as part of the English Heritage: Hoo Peninsula Landscape Project. The pits were recorded as follows: TQ 8346 7765 (1.7m x 2.5m) , TQ 8347 7762, (2m x 3m),TQ 8348 7762 (1.2m x 1.5m) and TQ 8348 7761 (1.8m x 1.9m). They lie in close proximity to a double-ditched sub-rectangular enclosure (NMR Monument Number: 1537544) and two incomplete ring ditches, all of uncertain date. (1)
