Full Description
An enclosure forming part of a settlement of Medieval date was visible as a cropmark in 35256/003 16-JUN-2022. One side of the enclosure with in-turned ends appears to front onto Canturbury Road. A straight ditch about 36m long lies to the east, oriented perpendicularly to the enclosure. This ditch is of uncertain date but may form part of the settlement site. These features were mapped as part of the Historic England Isle of Thanet project in 2024. (1)
