Full Description
Cropmarks and of three large pits of uncertain date - possibly post medeival extractive pits - and slight earthworks of a fourth pit which have been identified on aerial photographs -NMR 962/73 09-JUL-1976 and LIDAR Environment Agency DSM 07-DEC-2017 These pits were mapped as part of the Historic England Isle of Thanet Landscape mapping project in 2024.
