Full Description
A mound of modern date was visible as an earthwork in LIDAR Environment Agency DSM 07-DEC-2017. The mound is surrounded by a ring ditch. No earthwork is visible at this location in mid-20th century Royal Air Force aerial photography, indicating that it is a recent feature and not a Bronze Age barrow. This feature was mapped as part of the Historic England Isle of Thanet project in 2024. (1)
