Cropmark of a rectilinear settlement enclosure visible on aerial photographs - NMR 962/95 09-JUL-1976 and HEA_35258_032 22-JUN-2022. The site appears as sub-rectangular, sub--divided ditched enclosure 27m x 40m .This is one of a number of similar enclosures in this immediate area which may form a larger contemporary settlement. The enclosures are in a linear arrangement suggesting location on former tracks or roads. The SW quarter of the enclousure is filled by the slight earthwork depression of a possible post-medieval extractive pit visible on lidar images. These features was mapped as part of the Historic England Thanet Landscape Mapping Project 2024 (1-3)
