Full Description
A trackway and enclosure of Medieval date were visible as cropmarks in HEA 33062/17 24-AUG-2016. They are positioned to the south of a trackway marked on historical Ordnance Survey mapping (which is no longer a right of way) and the south-east side of the enclosure is parallel with the St Nicholas at Wade/Monkton parish boundary. The north-east side of the enclosure forms one side of the trackway. These features were mapped as part of the Historic England Isle of Thanet project in 2024. (1)
