Full Description
The cropmark traces of fragments of two perpendicular ditches and an adjacent single ditch of uncertain date seen within a single field to the south of Newhall Farm. The perpendicular ditches are centred at TQ 8294 7682 and measure 37m and 50m in length. To the west of these is a single NW-SE aligned ditch c.100m in length centred at TQ 8279 7686 which might be modern agricultural in origin. These were all mapped from aerial photographs as part of the English Heritage: Hoo Peninsula Landscape Project (1)
