Full Description
Two pits of uncertain date are visible as cropmarks on EARTH.GOOGLE.COM 1990. The features were recorded as part of the Thanet Landscape Mapping project. (1)
One of the oval pits is located at TR 3512 6724 and measures 16m x 23m, the other is located at TR 3499 6714, measuring c. 30m across and now infilled. It was visible on aerial photographs and mapped as part of the Historic England Ramsgate HAZ survey.(2, 3)
