Full Description

Barracks of 20th century date were seen as structures in RAF/HLA/564 V 6013 01-JUN-1942. The seven huts were described as 'Mens Quarters' on a plan of RAF Manston dated 7 April 1930 (RAF Museum, Hendon, reference MFC/78/24/0883).

By the time of a mid-20th century plan (RAF Museum, Hendon, reference X004/2380) the north-western hut was described as 'Staff Offices' and the remaining six huts were 'Barracks'.

They were recorded as demolished buildings in Next Perspectives APGB Imagery 07-APR-2021. They were mapped as part of the Historic England Isle of Thanet project in 2024. (1-2)
