Full Description

Cropmarks of a small incomplete ring ditch, probably a Bronze Age barrow visible on aerial photographs: CUCAP YH22 16-JUN-1959 which has been mapped as part of the Historic England Thanet Landscape Mapping Project 2024. The site appeared as an incomplete arc of ditch with a diameter of at least 12m. A more complete transcription of this site was mapped as part of the RCHME Kent NMP project undertaken in the late 1990s, but this project had access to Cambridge University (CUCAP) aerial photographs currently unavailable for this most recent (2024) survey.
