Full Description

An enclosure and pit forming part of a settlement of Medieval date were visible as cropmarks in NMR 962/125 09-JUL-1976 and Next Perspectives APGB Imagery 25-MAY-2012.The enclosure is formed of at least two conjoined rectilinear areas. They may have fronted the north side of Plumstone Road. The north-western area contained a pit. These features were mapped as part of the Historic England Isle of Thanet project in 2024. (1)
