Summary

During the archaeological investigation of the land north and south of Cottington Road ahead of the redevelopment of the site, a variety of archaeological features finds and deposits were recorded. Some of the features appeared to represent activity dating to the early and middle Bronze Age. These included an interesting inhumation burial associated with boar tusks as well as ditches that may form part of a monumental structure. (location accurate to the nearest 1m based on available information)
