Full Description

One of a group of six ring ditches likely to be the remains of Bronze Age round barrows visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs:Next Perspectives APGB Imagery 21-APR-2007 and mapped as part of the Historic England Thanet Landscape Mapping Project 2024. This ring ditch has a diameter of 28.4m. This barrow lies on the northern edge of the cropmark remains of a large Romano-British settlement recorded in TR36NW238 (1)
